How to add your name to MAC menu bar

First of all open your Mac, click on Apple logo on the very top left corner.
After clicking on Apple logo, a small pop up window will open, you will see the “System Preferences” option there, click it.
Here In system preferences move to “Users and guides” option which is under classification of System
Here you find the lock icon under “Users and Guides “option here. If the lock icon is open leave it and navigate to the next step. But if the lock is close it means that you need to give password which you have set earlier, click the lock icon and enter the password to unlock it. Now you are able to make the change of your choice on your Mac.
Proceed to the login option in “Users and Guides” and mark the box “Show fast user switching menu as” and choose “Full name” and “Short name” option and write you name which will shows on the Menu bar.
